Qatar Emiri Navy Forces assumed command of Combined Task Force (152), which contributes in enhancing maritime security and operational cooperation to guarantee the safety of maritime navigation at the Arabian Gulf region.
The ceremony took place at the headquarters of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where Staff Brig. Gen. (Navy) Hamad Saleh
Al-Ahwal assumed the force command from the Kuwaiti Naval Forces.
The assumption ceremony was attended by Staff Maj. Gen. (Navy) Abdullah Ali Al-Mazroui in addition to a number of officers from the participating countries.
