The Ministry of Defense of State of Qatar announces that State of Qatar was attacked today, Thursday, starting from 11:51 AM, by several missile attacks including (14) ballistic missiles and (4) drones coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Thanks to God, our Armed Forces successfully intercepted (13) missiles, while the last one fell in the territorial waters of State of Qatar. Also, the (4) drones were intercepted successfully without any human causalities.
The Ministry further emphasizes that Qatar Armed Forces possess full capabilities and resources, with God’s will, to safeguard the state’s sovereignty and territory, and to respond firmly to any external threat.
The Ministry also urges citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, adhere to official instructions issued by the security authorities, avoid rumors, and rely solely on information released through official channels.
