The Ministry of Defense of State of Qatar announces that State of Qatar was attacked, at dawn today, by (10) drones and (2) cruise missiles coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Qatar Emiri Air Defense Forces succeeded in intercepting (6) drones, Qatar Emiri Air Force successfully intercepted (2) drones and (2) cruise missiles, and Qatar Emiri Navy Forces succeeded in intercepting the other (2) drones.
The Ministry further emphasizes that Qatar Armed Forces possess full capabilities and resources, with God’s will, to safeguard the state’s sovereignty and territory, and to respond firmly to any external threat.
The Ministry also urges citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, adhere to official instructions issued by the security authorities, avoid rumors, and rely solely on information released through official channels.
