Medical services of Qatar Armed Forces organized a blood donation campaign for employees of Miqdam camp at the National Service Academy, in cooperation with the Hamad Medical Corporation.
Blood donation contributes to saving the lives of many patients and injured, especially blood patients and road accidents victims. It also contributes to supporting blood transfusion programs in the country and providing the necessary quantities to hospitals.
The blood donor benefits from stimulating blood circulation, reducing the risk of heart disease and arterial blockage, in addition to taking advantage of the tests that precede the donation to check on health.
The blood donation campaign saw a great demand from the employees of the Miqdam camp, who were keen to perform their social role through this initiative, expressing their happiness to participate in this humanitarian campaign.
