H. E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs, received a phone call from H. E. Rt Hon Grant Shapps, UK Secretary of State for Defense.
At the beginning of the call, H. E. Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs congratulated UK Secretary of Defense on the occasion of being appointed to
the post, wishing him success in his duty, and to contribute to further deepening and strengthening relations between the two friendly countries.
During the call as well, latest international and regional developments were discussed, especially the situation in Gaza.
H. E. Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs stressed, during the call on the necessity to work together to calm the situation in Gaza, and to allow the entrance of humanitarian aids.
