H. E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs, launched the Defense Strategy 2025—2030 during a ceremony held at Qatar Emiri Signal Corps.
The strategy focuses on strengthening defense capabilities and enhancing interoperability among the forces through technological solutions and capabilities, as well as adopting research, development, and innovative solutions in the fields of digital systems, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. These efforts aim to boost readiness, keep pace with rapid global developments, and enhance the ability of Qatar Armed Forces to safeguard the sovereignty of the State of Qatar.
During the ceremony, H. E. the Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs delivered a speech in which he affirmed that the Defense Strategy 2025—2030 represents a key step in advancing the readiness of Qatar Armed Forces. He highlighted the importance of technological advancement and the development of national talent in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030, underscoring the State’s steadfast commitment to supporting peace and
stability at the regional and international levels.
The launch ceremony was attended by H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, along with force commanders, heads of authorities, and a number of senior QAF officers.
