Under the patronage of H. E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiya, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs,and the presence of H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot)Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al-Nabit, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, the National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons held the demo Exercise (Chemical), in cooperation with the Chemical Proliferation Organization, and the participation of a number of military, security & civilian entities in the State of Qatar.
The exercise included real simulation scenario of a chemical incident during a football match, how to respond and control the incident and evacuation of fans and injured by the participating entities.
This exercise comes within a series of exercises and workshops held by the National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons in preparation for the State of Qatar hosting the World Cup 2022.
