H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al-Nabit, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, met with H. E. Lt. Gen. (Sea) Abdullah bin Khamees Al-Raisess, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces in the brotherly Sultanate of Oman, and his accompanying delegation, during his visit to the State of Qatar.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and develop them.
A number of defense cooperation agreements were also signed between the two sides, where H. E. the Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces signed for the Qatari side and H. E. the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces signed for the Omani side.
Both chiefs of staff made a visit to Umm Al-Houl port and toured on board QENF’s Al-Zubara vessel.
The meeting and visit were attended by a number of senior officers of both sides.
