Chief of Staff Attends Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Summer Activity Program

Under the patronage of H. E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and in the presence of H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, Qatar Armed Forces Sports Association celebrated the conclusion of the 2025 Summer Activity Program for the children of the Armed Forces personnel.

This year’s edition witnessed a high turnout and strong engagement, with over 400 participants taking part.

The activities lasted for a full month and were organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments & Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of Interior represented by the Directorate of Studies and International Affairs, the General Directorate of Civil Defence, Qatar Red Crescent, Qatar Shooting, Archery, & Bow Federation, Ihsan Center, and Aspire Academy.

The closing ceremony featured a brief showcase of sports activities the students participated in during the program, such as football, basketball, shooting, swimming, and martial arts. These activities, supervised by officers and coaches from Qatar Armed Forces Sports Association, helped develop the students’ athletic skills and provided an opportunity to discover numerous sporting talents.

At the end of the ceremony, the Chief of Staff honored the entities that participated in the summer program, in the presence of several senior commanders and officers from the Armed Forces, as well as the participants’ parents.
