The Ministry of Defense hosted the fifth meeting of the Higher Qatari-Turkish Joint Military Committee, in the capital city of Doha. The meeting was headed from the Qatari side by H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel AI-Nabit, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, and from the Turkish side by H. E. Gen. Yaşar Guler, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces.
The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda that are related to enhancing ongoing cooperation between the two countries in various military and security fields.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior QAF officers & commanders, and officers of the Turkish delegation members.
