Graduating First Batch of Joint Squadron 11 Hawks

In the presence of Brig. (Pilot) Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Dosari, Air Combat Group Commander, the first batch of the Joint Hawks Squadron 11 pilots was graduated from RAF Leeming Airbase in the United Kingdom.

 

The Joint squadron, which carries QEAF badge, will enable Qatari & UK pilots to train together on the latest versions of Hawk training aircraft (HAWK MK-167). These aircraft use advanced air simulation to look, feel & operate like the latest generation of fighters.

 

The graduation was attended by Brig.  Ali bin Mohammed Al-Fadala, Qatari Military Attaché in London, Brig. (Sea) Jarallah bin Hamad Al-Nabit,  Assistant Military Attaché in London, and from the British side attended Air Commodore Richie Yates, Senior Officer of Qatar Air Programs, and Brig. Aieen Sharoks, Training Commander of Air Group 22.
