Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs inaugurates the facilities and buildings of the Armed Forces Technical Institute

His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammad Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, inaugurated the facilities and buildings of the new Armed Forces Technical Institute.

The opening ceremony included a briefing by Brigadier General (Technician / Air) Mohammed Zayed Al-Ruwaili, Commander of the Armed Forces Technical Institute, about the new headquarters, and the most important facilities, equipment and services provided by the Institute to its affiliates.

The briefing was followed by an inspection tour of the institute’s facilities and a stand on the level of the affiliates.

It is worth noting that the institute offers foundational and specialized courses in English, computer, information technology, mathematics, science and engineering principles, in addition to general engineering training and specialized engineering training in electronics, mechanics, information systems and cybersecurity.

The opening ceremony was attended by Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al-Nabit, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and a number of senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces.
