part of the Qatari Ministry of Defence’s preparations to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, paid afield visit to US forces participating in securing the tournament.
The visit was part of an inspection tour of forces participating in securing the event.
H.E. Dr. AlAttiyah was accompanied during the tour by HE. Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Ageel ALNabit, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, and HE. Major General (Pilot) Mohammed Abdullatif Al-Mannai, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs and Chairperson of the Ministry of Defence’s executive committee for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and H.E. Major General Saeed Hsain Al-Khayarin, Combined Joint Task Force Commander for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, along with a number of senior Qatari officers.
