Conclusion of the Military Strategic Partnership Conference 2023 in Doha

The events of the Military Strategic Partnership Conference 2023 and the concurrent exhibition,  hosted by the State of Qatar in cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and lasting for 5 days, concluded today.

 

The conference, which saw the participation of more than 300 persons belonging to 37 NATO partner and allied countries, highlighted finding new methods and approaches to enhance and develop relations between the NATO and the rest of its partners and allies; particularly that the world currently witnesses many political and economic challenges that directly affects millions of people all around the globe, which requires cooperation and developing relations , so that goals and ambitions are achieved.

 

The participants focused on the big growth and transformation that NATO is witnessing since 2014; and the speed of this transformation after overcoming the COVID pandemic and the beginning of the Russian war on Ukraine. The participants also reviewed the features of the organization’s strategy to enhance and develop the network of its relations and partnerships, create pre-plans that help in swiftly making military decisions, and contribute to being well prepared for emergencies; emphasizing the importance of merging NATO’s development plans with its partners to achieve mutual benefit and exchange of expertise and experiments. The participants praised the strong participation in this conference, which reflects the help of the international community in implementing the law, preserving international peace and security, and reflects the strength, solidity, and geographic extent of the NATO’s relationship network.
