Gen. Kenneth Wilsbach, Chief Of Staff Of the United States Air Force, and his accompanying delegation, paid an official visit to Qatar Emiri Air Force as part of his visit to the State of Qatar. During the visit, he met with Maj. Gen. (Pilot) Faisal Khalid Al-Ghanim, Commander of Qatar Emiri Air Force.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and develop them.
During the visit, the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force attended the graduation ceremony of several aircrew courses aimed at enhancing readiness and professional competence, developing operational capabilities in accordance with the latest training concepts, and supporting air force systems while strengthening operational readiness.
The Chief of Staff and his accompanying delegation also toured Aviation Wing No. 5 (F-15), where they were briefed on the facilities, the Right line, and maintenance workshops.
The meeting, graduation ceremony, and tour were attended by a number of senior officers from both sides.
