The Qatari Emiri Naval Forces welcomed at Umm Al Houl Naval Base the Turkish ‘F-513 Burgazada’ combat ship, which arrived in Qatar in line with the cooperation agreement inked by the Qatari Ministry of Defence with partner and friendly forces to secure the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Officers of the Qatari Ministry of Defence presented gifts to the ship’s crew, and captured the moment in photos during a reception to welcome the Turkish delegation.
Turkish forces thanked the Ministry of Defence for the warm reception, and expressed enthusiasm to join the forces securing the world’s leading tournament, adding that they look forward to delivering on their mission.
