H. E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs, inaugurated Special Operations Training Center 401, which is affiliated with the
Joint Special Forces.
The center includes a number Of military training ranges built to the highest international standards and aims to attract local, Gulf, and international forces. It brings together all training ranges in one location, eliminating the need for trainees to move between different sites. The center specializes in special operations training, providing programs for individuals from the beginner level up to full proficiency and specialization.
The opening ceremony was attended by H. E. Khalfan bin Ali Al-Butti Al-Kaabi, President of the State Security Agency, H. E. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani, Minister of State for Interior Affairs, H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief Of Staff Of Qatar Armed Forces, along with a number of senior commanders and officers from Qatar Armed Forces and state security agencies.
