The Marine Wildlife Forum was held under the slogan “Impact of Hunting Methods on Marine Habitats & their Sustainability”, in the presence of H. E. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Subaie, Minister of Environment & Climate Change.
The forum discussed the efforts of the Ministry of Environment & Climate Change in preserving marine wildlife and banning overfishing in Qatari regional waters, in addition to reviewing Qatari laws & legislations to protect the fish wealth in the Qatari waters.
The forum was attended by Brig. (Tech./Air) Mohammed Yosuf Al-Jaida, Director of the Environment Directorate of Qatar Armed Forces, in addition to a number of Qatari environment specialists and activists.
