Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Attends Conclusion of “Miqdam” Tactical Exercise for the 22nd Batch

Under the patronage of H. E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and in the presence of H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, the National Service Academy concluded “Miqdam” tactical exercise for the 22nd batch of recruits from National Service Academy of high school graduates.

The exercise featured several scenarios, including reconnaissance, urban combat, ambushes, and assaults, with the aim of enhancing the recruits’ combat capabilities.

H. E. the Chief of Staff praised the efforts exerted by the national service recruits during the exercise, as well as the Academy’s role in preparing and qualifying them to reach such a distinguished level. In turn, Brig Salem Masoud Al-Hababi, Head of the National Service Academy, expressed his gratitude to H. E. the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and to H. E. the Chief of Staff for their continued support to the Academy.

The exercise conclusion was also attended by the Commander Of the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces, the Commander of the Military Police Forces, the Commander of the Qatar Emiri Air Defense the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, the Commander of the Qatar Emiri Air Force, the Commander of the Joint Special Forces, the Assistant Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) for Administration and along with a number of 06cers from the Qatar Armed Forces and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya).
