Under the patronage of H. E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and in the presence of H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, Qatar Armed Forces concluded Exercise (Al Koot 9) 2024, with the participation Of the friendly French forces.
The exercise aims to gain skills, raise combat readiness, handle various expected internal 8 external crises & catastrophes, and protect space field and land & naval borders of the country; in addition to exchange expertise and enhance military relations between the Qatari and the French sides.
On the sidelines of the exercise, H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, met with H. E. Gen. Pierre Schill, Chief of Staff of the French Army, and a number of senior commanding officers from both sides.
