Under the patronage of H. E. Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and the presence of H.E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al-Nabet, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, the symposium (Innovative Energy Solutions in Defense), organized by the Research, Experiments & Development Center of Qatar Armed Forces, was organized.
The symposium was presented by an elite of outstanding professors and experts from regional and international academic and research institutions, with the aim of discussing ways to innovate sustainable energy in the field of defense and enhance dialogue between academics, scientists, and specialized engineers. The symposium focuses on interaction with experts in the field of sustainable energy on both local and international levels, thus aiming to exchange knowledge, transfer technology, and encourage scientific research and innovation, to contribute to incentivise growth of sustainable energy and development in Defense
At the end of the symposium, H. E. the Chief of Staff delivered a speech, in which he thanked the speakers for the importance of the information they addressed, which represent Qatar Vision 2030. He stressed the keenness of the Armed Forces to progress in innovative energy in defense and urged for exertion more efforts to achieve desired goals.
The symposium was attended by a number of QAF senior commanders and senior officers.
