H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al-Nabet, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, visited the Republic of Italy.
He met with H. E. Adm. Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Italian Chief of the Defense Staff.
H. E. also met with H. E. Gen. Nicola Lanza de Cristoforis, Deputy Commander of the Italian Joint Operations Headquarters.
H. E. also visited pilot officers in the advanced course on Aermacchi M-346 aircraft at the International Aviation School in Decimomannu Air Base/ Cagliari, Republic of Italy. He met with H. E. Gen. Silvano Frigerio, Commander of Education & Training in the Italian Air Forces.
During the meetings, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and develop them.
The Visits and meetings were attended by a number of senior QAF officers.
