Under the patronage of H. E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and the presence of H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al-Nabit, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, the Candidates’ Training Center concluded Exercise “Lebsair” for the Military Sciences Diploma Course No. (10).
The exercise aims to test the candidates’ potential in applying combat skills and highlight their leadership role and mobilization information through battle procedures for minor sub-units commanders (platoon – company) during emergency. It also aims to understanding general principles of war and the principles of engagement & defensive operations, how to apply them correctly on the battlefield, planning & executing patrols, training on sea landing, and developing suburban combat skills.
The conclusion of the exercise was attended by a number of senior QAF commanding officers, and a number of officers from Qatar Amiri Guards, Ministery of interiors, Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya).
