H. E. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al-Nabit, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, met with H. E. Gen. Thierry Burkhard, French Chief of Defense, during the visit of H. E. to the Republic of France.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed military cooperation relations between them. The meeting also saw signing the minutes of the Qatari-French Higher Joint Committee in its 24th session; where H. E. Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces signed for the Qatari side, as H. E. French Chief of Defense signed for the French side.
The meeting included agreement on several joint activities and exercises, alongside the exchange of expertise that would contribute to enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries.
It’s worth noting that the Qatari-French Higher Joint Committee meets biannually and alternately between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior QAF officers.
