H. E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiya, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and H. E. Mr. Ben Wallace, British Secretary of Defense, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Qatari Typhoon fighters, at Wharton Airbase, UK.
During the ceremony, Qatari Typhoon fighters, which were received on schedule, were inaugurated. The fighters will be delivered to the State of Qatar this month, to begin their operation through providing support to World Cup 2022 events.
The ceremony was attended by H. E. Mr. Fahd bin Mohammed AlI-Attiya, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UK, H. E. Maj. Gen. (Pilot) Jasim bin Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mannai, Qatar Emiri Air Force Commander, Brig. Ali Mohammed Al-Fadala, Qatari Military Attaché to the UK, Brig. (Pilot) Mohammed Abdullah Al-Dosari, Air Combat Group Commander of Qatar Emiri Air Force, and a number of senior QAF officers.
