His Excellency Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, attended the graduation ceremony of the Bangladesh Military College.
The participation of His Excellency the Chief of Staff in the graduation ceremony came at the invitation of His Excellency the Chief of Staff of the Bangladeshi Army.
On the sidelines of the graduation ceremony, His Excellency the Chief of Staff met separately with a number of Bangladeshi officials
Where he met with His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shafi’uddin Ahmed, Chief of Staff of the Bangladeshi Army, His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaheen Iqbal, Chief of Staff of the Bangladeshi Naval Forces, His Excellency Lieutenant-General Sheikh Abdul Hanan, Chief of Staff of the Bangladeshi Air Staff, as well as His Excellency Tariq Ahmed Siddik, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
During the meetings, they discussed issues of common interest between the two sides, and ways to enhance and develop them.
The graduation and meetings were attended by a number of senior officers of the Qatari and Bangladeshi armed forces.
