H.E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Hanne Ould Sidi, Minister of Defense, Retirees’ Affairs and Martyrs’ Children of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, during the second day of Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIM DEX 2026).
During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and develop them.
H.E. the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs also signed a cooperation agreement with the Mauritanian Minister of Defense, Retirees’ Affairs and Martyrs’ Children, aimed at strengthening areas of joint cooperation in a manner that serves mutual interests and enhances defense partnerships between the State Of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
The meeting and the signing ceremony were attended by a number of senior officers and officials.
